Amanda studied Game Design and Development at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in May 2012. She currently works as an independent contractor which includes her work as a digital specialist and artist for Gallery 1070 in Edgewater, and starting this August Amanda will be teaching an Experimental Game Design course at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Amanda is also currently looking for more freelance contract opportunities. Her specialties include Unity 2D/3D Game Design & Development, Puzzle/Level Design, Art & Animation, Project Management and more.

 

In the past, Amanda has worked as a designer, artist, developer, project lead and more for various institutions including the Field Museum, Art Works For Change and The University of Chicago. Her digital installations and other works have traveled through galleries and museums across the nation: The Leonardo, The Phoenix Art Museum & more.  Amanda is also a strong advocate for women in technology and served as a leader, facilitator and mentor during the 3G Summit: The Future of Girls, Gaming and Gender.
